I made a stool from a single 12 mm lauan plywood sheet (3×6 shaku size =910mm×1820mm). By gradually shifting the dimensions of the hexagonal rings, I improved material yield. When stacking the parts, I also rotated the angles to prevent splitting, which allowed the flat-laminated assembly to reach seat height.
